FAQ

Good to know

The details that make your visit smooth, comfortable, and stress-free — from first-timer prep to aftercare.

How do I book an appointment?+

Right here on this page — the booking widget above pulls live availability from our GlossGenius page. Pick your service, choose a time, and you're set. You can also use any “Book” button across the site.

Do I need to leave a deposit?+

Some services and packages require a deposit to secure your appointment — this holds your time so it's reserved just for you. Deposits apply to higher-touch services where booking a slot means turning other clients away. Please note that a deposit is still required even if you have a coupon or voucher; the coupon or voucher applies to the service total, not the deposit hold. You'll see any deposit clearly before you confirm — no surprises.

I'm a first-timer. What should I expect?+

Welcome! New facial clients get a full consultation and skin analysis. For waxing, arrive with hair at least a quarter-inch long, skip retinol/exfoliating acids for a few days before, and wear something loose. We'll walk you through everything at your own pace.

What's your cancellation policy?+

Life happens — just give us at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit any deposit. Reach out as soon as you know and we'll take care of you.

How should I prep for a wax?+

Let the hair grow about 1/4 inch (2–3 weeks of growth). Avoid exfoliating, retinol, and sun exposure for 2–3 days before. Take a pain reliever 30 minutes prior if you'd like, and skip caffeine right before to keep things calm.

How do I care for my skin after waxing?+

Keep the area clean, avoid hot showers, saunas, and tight clothing for 24 hours. Gently exfoliate after 2–3 days to prevent ingrowns, and moisturize daily. We'll send you home with full aftercare guidance.

How do I care for my skin after a facial, and when should I reach out?+

After a facial, keep things gentle for 24–48 hours: avoid direct sun, exfoliating acids, retinol, saunas, and heavy workouts. Skip harsh or active products for a day or two and stick to a simple cleanse, hydrate, and SPF routine. Drink water and let your skin rest. Reach out right away if you notice prolonged redness, irritation, breakouts that don't settle, or anything that feels unusual — and feel free to message us anytime with general aftercare questions.

Do you offer housecalls or group bookings?+

Housecalls are available only for parties and special events — not for single individual services. Group services are not offered for facials. For group-friendly services, we book one person at a time, so bringing a partner or friend simply means you get to enjoy the appointment together while each person is seen individually. Message us through the Contact page to plan a party or special-event booking.

Where are you located?+

We're based in Lanham, Maryland. Full address and hours are on our Contact page — check there before you plan your trip.
